A little care makes a clearer scan.

The guest Wi-Fi sign is 5 × 7 inches (127 × 177.8 mm). Choose US Letter or A4 to print one centered sign with crop marks. Check the paper size in the print preview; your printer may override the page setting.

Use Actual size / 100% and turn off browser headers and footers. Keep the black-and-white QR area clear, flat and well lit. Warm also works with background printing turned off.

The PNG is 1500 × 2100 pixels. The SVG download contains only the QR code. “Print / Save as PDF” opens your browser’s print dialog; it does not automatically save a PDF.

Made for everyday guest networks.

Supports WPA/WPA2 Personal and open networks, with an optional hidden-network setting. Enterprise Wi-Fi, WEP, WPA3-only, web-login hotspots and 64-character raw hexadecimal keys are not supported.

Camera support varies. Non-ASCII network names, such as names with accents, need testing on real devices. Keep readable network details as a backup. Changing your network name or password requires a new sign.

A few useful answers.

Is this Wi-Fi sign maker free?

Yes. You can generate, download and print a sign without an account.

Does hiding the password make the QR code private?

No. The QR code contains the network credentials. Anyone with it can read those details, even when the printed password is hidden. Share the sign only with people who should have access.

Will the QR code expire?

This is a static Wi-Fi QR code, with no redirect service. It still needs the same network name, password and supported security settings. If those change, make a new sign.

Will every phone connect automatically?

No. Phones may show a prompt, need a QR-capable camera or handle network settings differently. Print one copy and test it on your guests’ devices. Keep the manual connection details available.

Can I edit the sign later?

Reopen this page and enter the details again. This tool does not save your network details or an editable project. Refreshing or closing the page clears your inputs.

Can I print on A4?

Yes. Select A4, then Print / Save as PDF. Check that A4 and 100% scale are also selected in your print dialog. The sign remains 5 × 7 inches on either paper size.

Your network. Your details.

Your Wi-Fi details are processed in this browser and are not sent to our servers. We do not put them in links, analytics or browser storage. Your appearance preference is saved separately. The hosting service may keep ordinary access logs when you load the page.

No account, remote QR service or tracking scripts. An already loaded page can generate and export offline; reopening it offline is not supported. Downloaded signs and QR codes contain network details — store and share them with care.
